The IBM ThinkPad Dock II provides easy cable management and comprehensive desktop expansion capabilities. The Dock II supports one-step pass-through connection for RJ-11, RJ-45, serial, parallel, keyboard, mouse, monitor (15-Pin and DVI), USB, line-in and line-out. The RJ-11 and RJ-45 pass-through feature allows network and telephone connection with Mini-PCI card architecture on the ThinkPad notebook. Supporting Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 for systems with these technologies, the Dock II has an Ultrabay 2000 modular bay supporting optional Ultrabay 2000 devices such as a CD-ROM, a second hard disk drive and adapter or a DVD-ROM. Two additional PC Card slots and one half-size PCI slot (for desktop cards) round out the versatile configuration options supported by the ThinkPad Dock II. An integrated key-lock and system tray secures your ThinkPad notebook in the Dock II, which also includes a lock slot for securing the Dock II using an optional cable lock.
