DAT Optic Inc.'s Speedzter2 is a reliable External Storage Device with a built-in high-performance 1394/USB2.0 bridge adapter. The Speedzter2 can easily convert an internal 2.5" IDE Hard Disk Drive into a Firewire and USB2.0 interfaced portable external disk. With its rugged aluminum body, the Speedzter2 provides excellent protection for the hard disk drive and has great heat dissipation capabilities. The Speedzter2 is compact, with dimensions of only 12.7cm x 7.5cm x 1.5cm (5.0in x 2.9in x 0.6in). It is smaller than any existing 2.5" enclosures with similar compatibilities. It is the smallest and thinnest 2.5" HDD enclosure in the market. With a built-in, well designed 1394/USB2.0 bridge board, the enclosure offers the highest compatibility and reliability.
