Introducing our brand new bridge board featuring programable RAID 0, RAID 1, Read Only or Dual Drive FireWire800 Internal Converter, which offers un-parallel performance, flexible yet very simple and easy to use.
Our IF8C-I core designs base on world famous INITIO 2430, which combined integrated 32-bit CPU and embedded SRAM. To provide high performance and a cost effective solution, using INIC-2430 our bridge board integrates a 1394b link core, ATA control block and microprocessor into a single ASIC. The IF8C-I delivers a data transfer rate of up to 800 Mbits/sec on FireWire 800 (1394) interface (100 MBytes/sec), while its ATA interface supports ultra DMA modes (33/66/100/133 MBytes/sec).
DATOptic IF8C-I can be programable to support dual drive ( Master/Slave), Dual channel RAID 0,1 or READ only mode, which is critical for A/V applications or forensic application
With our Brand New Dual Drive Internal FireWire 800 Converter, system CPU will experience less interrupt request being send from using/accessing ATA/ATAPI device, therefore computer system run better, smoother, and lots more efficent.
Computer system with our Internal Converters is no longer limited to four drives, in fact sixty three Internal or External IDE (converted) devices can be connected to FireWire bus in the expence of only ONE IRQ.
