DATOptic mSATA-PCI is an ideal storage host controller for servers, workstations, A/V editing station or low cost storage systems featuring JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 1+0 or RAID 5 in single Multilane / Infiniband conncetion Based on a 32-bit/66 MHz PCI interface, DATOptic mSATA-PCI provides support for four independent Serial ATA devices with transfer rate up to 1.5GB per channel with total banwidth of 266MB/sec In addition, multiple mSATA-PCI controllers may be used in the same application when connections to more than four devices are required. Our Serial ATA host controller mSATA-PCI is fully support Windows, Linux and Novell Netware operating systems for both RAID and non-RAID operations. Software RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring), RAID 1+0 (mirrored stripe), and RAID 5 (parity) functions are supported through Silicon Image’s SATARaid™ RAID management software utility.
