To answer the demand of Video/Audio storage need, DATOptic introduces the NSA-Pro - one of the most advanced Network Attached Storage Server based on Intel technologies, the DATOptic NAS-Pro - Network Attached Storage Server offers impressive features and performance, with up to eight hot swap SATA drives for storage space, which can be configured as RAID 0, 1, 5 or JBOD and transport data thru configurable TWO gigabit ethernet ports as Stand Alone, Fault Tolerance, Load Balancing or Link Aggregation mode

Hot Expansion:
Ability to increase the capacity of a RAID group without shutting down or restarting the system. With the Hot-swapable HDD's and Hot Capacity Expansion RAID , it is now possible to expand your storage capacity on demand with maximum system uptime.

Expandable and Smart Extend:
With the optional Extended Module (P/N: NAS-ProE), NAS-Pro can grow to the demands of storage space required in the future with up to EIGHT SATA drives. Our NAS-Pro Network Attached Server utilizes advanced iSCSI technology with an intelligent Automatic SmartExtend (ASE) mechanism to architect reliable and scalable solution allowing management of storage resources for multiple NAS-Pro Network Attached Server units in the network as a single IP Storage Network. That means better resource utilization, ease of storage management and simpler expansion of storage.

Integrated Network Disc Server & Data Archiving:
The data archiving feature of the Our NAS-Pro Network Attached Servers becomes more versatile by integrating with the Network Attached Disc Server function. During data archiving, the NAS-Pro servers will first move the archive data into disc images, then burn them to optical media, while the NAS-Pro Disc Servers manage and share CD/DVD discs in the form of disc images. You can define and use policies to move less frequently used files to read-only disc images first, which can be mounted and shared to network users by using the Disc Server function. When the archived disc images are not in use for a long time, you can then choose to burn them to discs, further freeing up hard disk space.

Smart Sync:
Enable fast data replication and NAS-to-NAS backup by employing differential block transfer to speed up the sync process. All the backups are kept on line for easy data restoration.

Snap Shot:
Ability to create a read-only copy (in a flash of a second) of the contents of a Network Attached Storage Server at a particular point in time. Users can easily restore previous versions of files or folders without having to contact a system administrator.

Virus Protection
Most storage systems are vulnerable to virus attacks. This can cause unmeasureable damage. Integrated TREND MICRO antivirus software in the NAS-Pro Network Attached Storage Server is the best-of-breed security product that delivers reliable antivirus protection to prevent a virus from spreading before it get to you. Email:
NAS-Pro - Network Attach Storage Server featuring email notification to notify you when there are events occuring on the NAS-Pro System . You can even specify what kind of event should trigger the email notification process.

Configurable Gigabit Ethernet Ports

• Stand Alone: Each GigaBit Ethernet port is configured as an independent port (different IP)
• Fault Tolerance: Use LAN2 to take over LAN1 if LAN1 is failed to connect to the network, this feature ensure the availability to the network
• Load BalancingTO increase the network bandwidths by allowing transmission to multiple destination addresse using both LAN1 and LAN2. If the traffic of other LAN port starts to get congestion, requested are then forward to the other LAN port with more capacity until the traffic of both LAN ports start balancing. This mode also incorporates Fault Tolerance protection.
  Note:Only LAN1 port receives incoming traffic.
• Link aggregation Combine both LAN1 and LAN2 into a single channel, single MAC address to provide greater bandwidth.
  Note It must be use with a network switch having the Link Aggregation or Trunking function.
