Its polyurethane foam outer layer disperses pressure applied from the outside and a low repulsion polyurethane inner layer absorbs and reduces the force down to one-third. On the bottom where it’s most likely to hit a solid surface, there is another low repulsion polyurethane layer that also reduces the force from impacts down to one-third. Together they cushion your VAIO from virtually all angles, protecting the invaluable contents of your computer. The engraved metal VAIO logo shows you which side to open the case.
